This is the exact training plan I use at home.

I turned 62 this year. A few months ago, I noticed that I was losing some weight, but my clothes weren't fitting any better. I took my measurements, and I saw that I had gained an inch around my waist.

What really surprised me was the fact that I'd lost an inch off of my hips, and half an inch each off of my thighs.

I coached clients through body recompositions for more than ten years, and from those measurements, I knew I had lost muscle in my glutes and legs, and gained some fat around my waist and belly. Although the muscle loss was making me weigh less, the change in my waist and stomach were making my skirts, shorts, and pants tighter.

The time had come when my natural hourglass shape wasn't going to maintain itself.

I have thoroughly enjoyed using Crossrope to build my stamina and agility for dancing, but it wasn't going to offer the resistance training volume I needed to start building muscle again.

I've posted my training regimen in the image above, and link below will take you to a YouTube video describing more of what's working to help me achieve recomposition now.

The training sessions only take about 30 minutes each. The best part is that doing the training Monday through Friday makes lifting an integral and expected part of my workday. Then the weekend offers a good rest before I'm back at it on Monday, with leg day of course!

I'll be sharing proven benefits of resistance training to keep motivated: especially through the holidays. I hope you'll follow along and reap the rewards of recomp yourself.
